Description
Mid Edo period Japanese hexagon shaped incense burner (koro) in Kakiemon style and decorated with different fruits displayed on each of the panels. It is likely to date from the early to mid-18th century. It came with a wooden storage box (tomobako), pretty much worn, with some writings on the lid. Those characters can be translated as Kakiemon, incense burner.
